Holidays

Well the Holidays have almost come and gone and boy am I glad. Not like I didn't enjoy them but you have to admit they are kinda stressful between the money and crazyness. I got the digital camera a so desperatly needed so my pictures are back. Daisjurr got a xbox 360 and the game guitar hero 3 whcih I have come to liking and David got a blue tooth headset so I think Santa gave us all what we wanted. Now we are getting a little brake from Daisjurr because he went to Spokane until Friday to see his cousins. David's mom is still here though and also will be leaving on Friday.

Yesterday was my friends birthday so I went out with some freinds for dinner and a drink which was fun. I came home early though becuase unfortunatly David has a bad cold and needed some TLC. I also have been taking care of him all day. Tomorrow is New Years Eve, as everyone should now and I am unsure if we are still going out becuase David is sick but we had planned on going out to ring in the new year with the rest of Seattle. They have fireworks at the Space Needle. I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year! No real resolution from me this year, as always it would be nice to lose a few pounds but not really a resolution.

Cookies

Last night Daisjurr and I make cookies, yummy! We baked chocolate chip, David's favorite, and sugar. It was nice to spend some qaulity time with him and also he did most of the work, I just had to stay by the oven while they baked becuase that part was to boring for him. He made his own little sugar cookie man and a santa hat and was so proud becuase he didn't use a cookie cutter.

Well my mother-in-law is here. She is only staying for a short two week visit compaired to the normal one month. Also I am actually glad she is here except for the fact that now our house is ten times louder than normal.

Christmas theme

Well I decided to change my blog theme and make it a little more festive. Also we got our tree decorated and it looks so good. I am going to buy a disposable camera so we can have pictures of our home at Christmas time and for Christmas morning.

Last night David and I went downtown and Christmas and window shopped a little. It was so pretty and decorated with lights. Everyone was dressed nice and kids were running around in there fancy Christmas clothes they wore to see Santa in the Nordstroms window display set up just for them sit on his lap. I love Christmas in the City. We also went to Nieman Marcus because we have herd about how expensive it is. And wow a pair of Prada shoes were $500.00. Needless to say we looked around and marveled at all of the expensive stuff and left without touching a thing. It was nice just to walk around not have to be part of the hustle and bustle and just enjoy the scenery.

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree tomight. It smells so good and I can't wait to decorate it tomorrow. YAY!

Leavenworth Christmas

We wen't to Leavenworth over thw weekend and celebrated Christmas with my parents. It was very cold and there was snow everywhere, brrrrrrrr!

Snowing

It is snowing in Seattle! This would be cool but it pretty much screwed up my plans for the whole day. I was supposed to have a Passion Party but since people here don't know how to drive in snow everyone is canceling. Also my stepson is such a teenager and forgot that he had football rewards and decided that a freinds house is more important. NO, we only told him 5 million times and so now I got of work early for nothing when I could have been getting more overtime. GRRRRRR.

Christmas

I forgot to post that I put up the Christmas decorations today. Now our house is very festive and I am in the mood for Christmas. Would take a pic but ya know, no camera!

Keeping in touch

Well, last week I got back in touch with an old High School friend. It had been a couple years since we lost touch and I had always wondered about what had happend to her and well, now I know. Myspace it such an amazing thing who knows who you will find. I love being able to keep in touch with people who are far away and I don't see much. Jjust think if this was like ten years ago it wouldn't be as easy and I am sure I would have lost touch with many people unfortunatly.

Today was a good day, I decided to go back to school and I registered for Winter quarter. I figured I just better hurry up and finish my degree and move on to the next step in life, making money. I also got my hair cut a couple weeks ago and wanted bangs which my hair dresser did but she made them so long. Today I cut them short by myself (scary) but I think it looks cute. I would post pics but ya, no digital camera until Christmas when someone hopefully bought me a new one!

This weekend I am throwing a passion party/girls night. It should be fun and I am totally excited. I haven't done something with my friends in a while so it will be nice. We have a chocolate fountain so I am going to pul it out and give it a try it should be good, ladies love chocolate! The only thing that sucks is I can't party to hard becuase I have to work Sunday morning at 6am. I will tell everyone how it goes.

Thanksgiving

Well today is Thanksgiving and boy am I full. This year it was just David, DAisjurr and I and David invited two of his friends who don't have any family around. I cooked all of the fixings and David deep fried the turkey outside (sooo good). This was our first year to deep fry a turkey and it turned out delicious. As for tomorrow, the biggest shopping day of the year well ya, I will not be going. I know that is very surprising but I have to work a double shift which is probably for the better so I don't end up buying stuff I don't need. Well I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and nobody went into a food coma, haha!

Camera

My digital camera finally broke just when I got a picture printing printer. I am not sure how my camera broke but it wont do anything and when you turn it on it just stays on one screen that says access and when you try to turn it off it won't. You have to hit it a couple times before it turns off. Now I know what I want for Christmas. Sorry but there will be no new pics from me on here for awhile.

Work, Work, Work!!!

So I have no life and I work all the time. One week I work six days and the next week I work 4 plus a double so I can have a three day weekend and I am getting very tired. I love my job and the people I work with but I feel like I have no social life outside of home and work. I am trying to plan a girls night/passion party but it is so hard to find a good time when most of us can get together but I think I might have two dates finally that may work. Am I the only person that works all day and then doesn't want to due anything when they get home but relax and then feels like a loser becuase I never do anything but work and clean house and cook dinner. Wow, I really need to get more of a social life and quit complaining. Tomorrow I finally am getting my hair done. Usually I go every 3 months but this time it has been 7 months and I really need a hair cut and highlights. I will try and post before and after pics.

Halloween Party

Last night David and I went to a Halloween party. He did not dress up but I dressed up like a pirate.

Football

Daisjurr is number 4. All the ones of him actually playing turned out blurry.

Today was a busy day. I did my normal 3 mile walk I do on my days off and then ran some errands. After that I went to Daisjurr's last football game. They played Bishop Blanchet High and it was a tie game. We went into double over time but then the refs had another game so it was just called a tie. The Ballard team ended the season well and we are very proud of Daisjurr. After the game I went to an Art galla and wine tasting my work was having. The galla was nice but I was hoping David would meet me there so I could show him my work becuase we got remodeled and that way I wouldnt be the only co-worker without a date. Oh, well! Well it is almost 8pm and I have to be at work at 6am and I really need to get ready for bed and relax before I fall asleep.

Fall

I finally got batteries for my camera, ya. Here are some pictures of the leaves changing by my house. Also there is a picture of my first homemade pie from scratch (mmmm apple)! Daisjurr is having his last football game on Thursday so I will be sure and get some good pictures to post.

Crazy

This week has been crazy. I worked two double shifts, one on Tuesday and one today. Also yesterday after going to work and the gym I went to Daisjurr's football game in the pooring rain. His field was completely flooded and it was freezing so I managed to get soaking wet even though I had an umbrella and a coat with a hood on becuase the weather was so bad! I took some pics with my camera phone but I cant send them to my email becuase the dang thing is retarded and my digital camera needs batteries so when I get them I will have to take some pics and post them.

Weekend

I tried to post this last night and somehow it got erased.

Today (Monday) reminded me of living in Alaska where it stays dark 24hrs a day in the winter. The sun did not come out once today and it was glumy, rainy and dark all day. I had planned on going to the bank but when I took one look outside I scraped those plans and didn't even get dressed. I did clean my house like every Monday and did laundry, so at least something was accomplished. This eve when having dinner I asked Daisjurr about his girl friend when he told me they broke up. I asked him why and he told me that she did bad things like drugs. He told me he doesn't want a girlfriend that smokes pot. He then opened up and told us all about what is going on. It made me very proud to here that he is turning out to be such a good kid.

Although the weather was bad today (Monday) the weekend was very nice. David and I took two walks on Sunday. First we went to Gas Works Park where there were people (30 adults) dressed in animation right out of Pokemon and then in another part of the park there was people dressed in armor fighting eachother like back in the 1800's. We got a good laugh and then went on our way. Our second stop was a trail by Lake Washington that is 2 1/2 miles and we walked the whole thing.

Cooking

Yesterday I got an extra day off work becuase I was throwing up, yuck. I feel great today and was back at work and back to being busy. I have been working out now for almost 2 weeks, 5 days a week and not eating past 6pm which is sooo hard. It is a little disapointing though becuase so far I have only lost 1 pound, I am going to keep at it though becuase it really makes me feel good and have more energy to get through my day. After working out today I came home, tried to relax for an hour and then got started on dinner, when I managed to burn the crap out of my pinky. Now it is red and blistery and hurts :( I hate it when I do clumsy things like that. The weather here in Sea Town sucks and has been yucky and cloudy for the last week or so but since it has been so cold the trees are turning beautiful colors. My camera is broke other wise I would have taken a pic.

Puppy Love

Daisjurr has his first real girlfriend. They are so cute becuase she is very shy and giggles alot and he tries to be very sweet and even open the car door for her. It reminds me of back when I first started dating and of how shy I was and was afraid to eat in front of my boyfriend. They have gone on two dates by themselves one to game works and last night they went to the homecoming game together. David had to have the talk with him about not having girls over when parents aren't home and vice versa and it just seems like he is growing up to fast. Tonight she came over for dinner and then we rented a movie to watch and they were holding hands on the couch, so sweet but I don't really want things to go past hand holding, which I know is unrealistic. Well I have to work all weekend so we have nothing planned. I did try to make carmel apples though and the carmel just slid right off the apple becuase I made the carmel to runny, oh well, I will try agian.

Drivers License

Today I had many of errands to run and phone calls to make. One of my errands was to get my name changed on my drivers license which took an hour and a half, ridiculous. It would not have taken so long but I had to go to the Green Lake office because I first went to the down town one, which had no line but I forgot my marriage certificate and I didnt want to pay for parking again. Daisjurr had another football game tonight and they won. Now his team is 4 and 1. I also finished getting our honeymoon pics developed which was exciting and bought my stamping stuff to make Christmas cards.

Dentist

Today I went to the dentisit. I had to get two fillings, not fun. I haven't needed any fillings for a couple years so I was kinda nervous about the whole thing, it went well though. Now I am in a lot of pain. They filled one on the top and one on the bottom and I want to rip the one on the bottom out. I am not quite sure why it hurts so bad because the top one doesn't hurt at all. David called me to tell me how work was going today and I tried to get sympathy but thats hard to get from him. He said "no one else gets fillings and then has pain like that, why does normal things always end up hurting you." Thats when I just ended the conversation, Oh well. I took some tylenol/codiene and am now waiting for the pain to go away. Besides the dentist and a long nap, I have not accomplished anything today and there is laundry to be done and sheets to be washed. Well better get busy!

Movies

Today I saw my first movie in a a year. I saw Good Luck Chuck and wow, I havent seen that many different sex positions in a movie before. It was a good movie though and funny. I also saw my friend from Russia who I haven't seen since the wedding and it was nice to catch up with her. Besides that my weekend was non eventfull. Went out to dinner, hung out with David, same old thing. Today David got a car alarm put in and has not arrived home yet from getting it installed, I am sure he will have lots to show off when he gets here. It was my first weekend off in a long time and was a good one. I look forward to having many more weekends home.

First day as a blogger

Well, I started this becuase my best friend started a blog and I was reading her's and her sister's and thought to myself what a great idea. I think blogging will be a great way to keep in touch and keep updated with my family members and close friends. So here goes my first blog. I just got a day shift position at my work and I am so excited to be home every evening becuase it has been a couple years since I have been able to enjoy my evenings at home. Also I just got my yearly raise and I am excited to see if it really makes a difference in my paychecks. Diasjurr started his first year of highschool and so far so good. He is on the Freshman Football team and that keeps him out of trouble and motivated to get good grades. I think that is about all for now but I will try and post a new blog weekly or if anything exciting happens.
