Week 6

This has been a good week. IT started out a little rocky and I was feeling discourage but by today I am feeling better. I went to the gym 3 times and also walked up and back the huge hill that is a 1/4 mile straight up. As for measurements, I still cant find my tape measure, looks like I need to buy a new one. Also I still haven't lost any weight (little discouraging) but I know I have lost inches becuase of the way my clothes are fitting. I keep telling myself I am building muscle. Also I began to eat very healthy this week, even reducing my carbs. Well 6 weeks left. Oh ya my bikini came in the mail, I tried it on but I am saving it for the grand finale, hopefully I can put up a pick of my new bod!!!

Yesterday after going to the gym I came home and worked on my wedding scrapbook. Here are the latest pictures.

A while back David and I got exclusive tickets to a magazine party. I found these pics in the magazine and then went online and found them. I hate them though becuase of how chubby I look. If you want to see more from the party visit Dlistmagazine.com click on gallery and pick 1 year anniversary.

Snoqualmie Falls

Today we spent the day at Snoqualmie Falls. The falls are so beautiful and we even took the little path down to the bottom. It was a nice little hike down but the way up was a little tiring.

I hope this doesn't hurt anyone's feelings

I just picked up the book Stolen Innocence at Costco last night. I am so intrigued by what is going on in the FLDS compounds and the history of those people. I feel so sorry for the women, men and children who have been raised to have this faith and none other. I am not a religious person but very spiritual. I was raised Christian and went to many different types of churches growing up, they all had the same goal and they all believed in one god but each had different rules, regulations and standards not only to get to heaven but to be accepted. I also remember worrying about every little thing I thought and did and wondering if it was right or wrong just as those of the FLDS, thinking I may go to hell for being or believing in one religion or another. Now as I am older and have took interest in studying all religions from Mormonism, Buddhist, Muslim basically all of them I do not believe in any of them soley. I feel they all have good and bad and if you narrow it down to the basics they all believe in a higher being. They all also believe in being nice, having respect for elders, and all of the basic morals and praying to the higher being for strength and wisdom. This makes me wonder which one is the right or wrong one, I say they are all right and wrong. I now believe in having faith in what I call God but I do not believe in anyone religion. I also believe in the Bible and what it tells me but it is funny how it tells different religions different things. Anyways enough about that.

This book is excellent no matter what you believe. IT also reminds me that knowledge is power.

Update

My brother and Amanda have come and gone. It was so nice to see them and meet Amanda (what a good catch for him). We had a blast, went to the market, casino, M's game and shopping and ate a lot of good food. I BBQ ribs for the first time when they were here and they turned out delicious so I will definitely be doing that again.

Also It was my birthday on May 3rd. Happy Birthday to me!!! I actually had to work and David and I were having some relationship issues so it wasn't the best birthday. I received a gift card to Victoria's secret form my parents and bought a new swim suite. Hopefully in 8 more weeks I will be able to were it. I also took my self shopping when my brother arrived to make up for my lost B-Day! I guess I will have to accept that birthdays aren't as special as they used to be.

Week 4 Results

Not so good. I went to the gym this week on my days off and worked hard but not so good results. I also went roller blading around green lake (3miles).

Weight: 134 (ya I gained weight and hopefully it is muscle)
Abs: 29
Hips: 41
Thighs: 19
Arms: 10.5

I am so frustrated becuase I want so bad to be under 130 and it just want budge. I am going to work harder and even try and eat healthy which I wasn't doing. It has finally been nice here and warm so I have even more motivation to get into my bikini. I even bought a new one.

Week 3

This hasn't been such a good week for me and my gym going. I have only gone twice becuase my brother came to visit and I don't want to say "sorry but I have to go to the gym, can you stay here for an hour and entertain yourselves". This means I have no results this week. Also we all went shopping yesterday and boy do I hate shopping becuase of the stupid size thing. Also it just reinforced how much I am not happy with my body, more motivation.

Only 9 more weeks to go so I hope everyone is still going strong.

Gardening

Today I planted flowers in our flower bed. I do this every year and it just makes things look more alive and cheerful around here. Also I had a rough weekend and did not work out at all but I was back at the gym today.

Week 2 results

I did go to the gym today and work out, even my abs, although I have been quite sore since my last visit on Monday. My abs feel like I have had a tummy tuck becuase it hurts to cough, sneeze, bend, to do pretty much anything. So far I am liking the results though and not just the physical ones, I feel like I have so much energy and actually get things accomplished on my days off instead of just being a lazy bum. My trainer said I will be in pain for a couple weeks before my body gets used to things, ugh!!! As for the eating healthy surprise, surprise I haven't really been. I eat healthy for the most part but I still have the bacon cheeseburger or pizza sometimes, for example last night we had Red Mill (not healthy).

Results for week 2:

Weight- 131.5
Abs- 29
hips- 41.25
Arms- 10.5
Thighs- 21

I am quite surprised with the results and have shocked myself I even measured twice thinking something was wrong but no, it is just simple my hard work is paying off. Not a huge weight loss but inches are better then weight in my opinion. Hope everyone else is still feeling motivated and keep up the hard work. Some weeks wil be better then others.

Oh, ya, my brother and his girlfriend will be here in one week to visit and I am so excited. Also my birthday is Saturday but I have to work all weekend. We are going to weight and celebrate when my brother arrives.
