Dog Sittting

So we are are dog sitting and I am so excited. I want a dog so bad and David hasn't quite decided its such a good idea yet. Hopefully after this weekend he will let me get a dogie.

The dog we are watching is a friends who went to Canada for 4 days. Her name is Cocoa and she is a Yorkie mix, sooooo cute!

Scrapbooking

Ok, I went to a scrapbook party a couple weeks ago and ordered a bunch of stuff to finally make a wedding scrapbook. I am so excited because it arrived on Fri. and I started making a couple of things right away since I had some extra time over the weekend. I havent put a picture on the page yet and I also made some cards to.

Wish me luck tomorrow becuase it is my first 12 hour shift on my unit. I am mostly excited but a little nervouse becuase it is pretty fast paste compared to what I am used to. I also goit my first pair of Dansko shoes and if you work in a hospital you hae to have a pair of Dansko's. Those are hospital cloggs in case you didnt know.

Training

Well I started my new job and have been in training and will be the rest of the week 8am-4pm. I hate this schedule and on top of that I have a bad cold and a big exam on thursday! I hope I make it through becuase I feel like crap and only have 4 hours to study tomorrow for my test but I also have other assignments that need to be completed during this time, aahhhh it looks like I will have a late night tomorrow and there is just no time to rest and get well.

On a positive note I think I am going to love my new job. I will be getting so much more hands on expirence and training. I also was asking around and found out I can watch in on surgery anytime as long as I ask the doctors permission first and it is nothing critical, so cool. I met some really nice girls around my age in training this week also and one is going to be on my floor. Well update everyone on everything else when I get time!

Last Day

So yesterday was my last day of work. I thought I would be sad but I wasn't. I will really miss everyone though. They were so sweet, when I was getting ready to leave I came out of the med room and all of my coworkers were there to say good by with roses and a basket full of chocolates for me. I hope my new job has such a great team of coworkers to work with.
